How to Make 'Follow' the Primary Button on Your LinkedIn Profile

For Desktop Users:

  1. Access Privacy Settings: Go to your Privacy Settings on LinkedIn.
  2. Select Visibility Tab: In the Privacy Settings, select the tab entitled 'Visibility'.
  3. Followers Option: Find and click on the last option on the right of the menu entitled 'Followers'.


  4. Make Follow Primary: Under the sub-heading 'Make follow primary', select 'Yes' to make 'Follow' the primary option on your profile.

For Mobile App Users:

  1. Settings: Open the LinkedIn mobile app and go to 'Settings'.
  2. Visibility Tab: Navigate to the 'Visibility' tab.
  3. Followers Option: Find and click on the last option on the right of the menu entitled 'Followers'.
  4. Make Follow Primary: Under the sub-heading 'Make follow primary', select 'Yes' to make 'Follow' the primary option on your profile.
